More than 22,000 professionals have already been accredited to the ANATO Tourist Showcase
The Colombian fair will open this February 27, 40 international destinations and all national departments will show their attractions to establish business relationships to expand the tourism offer
Colombia will open to the world this February 27, 28 and March 1 with the opening of the most important tourism event in the country, the scenario in which around 40 international destinations and all national departments will show their attractions to establish relationships commercial activities that allow expanding the tourist offer.
Doctor Iván Duque, President of the Republic, will attend the event's installation ceremony; José Manuel Restrepo, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism; and Jaime Alberto Cabal, deputy general secretary of the UNWTO; and Flavia Santoro, president of ProColombia; among other leaders of the sector.
To date, more than 22,000 professionals of the sector have managed their income to participate in the Tourist Showcase of ANATO, which this year, reaches version 38.
"Two days to start this important event that makes so much contribution to Colombia, as well as Bogotá. Every year more businessmen show their interest in being part of it, the place where the whole chain of industry meets and shows why tourism should be called the `new oil of Colombia ', said Paula Cortés Calle, executive president of ANATO.
For this version of the meeting will be the participation for the first time of Antigua and Barbuda, Canada, Italy, the Arab Emirates and Austria, as well as companies such as your ticket, National Theater and the Bogotá Theater Festival.
Parallel to the Tourist Showcase will be carried out "ProColombia Travel Mart", the macrorueda that has been carried out since 2005, and in which this year will involve 250 national operators from 20 regions of the country, an event that will be attended by representatives of countries such as Australia, Singapore, Finland, India, China, Japan, South Korea and Poland.
