Argentina seeks to promote the wine, gastronomy and tourism market
The Argentine Federation of Associations of Travel and Tourism Companies (FAEVYT) and the Argentine Wine Cooperation (COVIAR) signed a mutual collaboration agreement
Horacio Reppucci, secretary of FAEVYT, said that "travel agencies and tourism are a relevant actor in terms of the promotion of culture and tourism in our country. It is part of the work of the agencies to generate new alternatives and business opportunities that show the different local attractions and, in that sense, undoubtedly the wine routes have become a very interesting product to promote different destinations "and added" From FAEVYT our main commitment is to promote the work of travel agencies, understanding their role in the tourism industry, why the importance of this agreement we signed with COVIAR to generate joint actions and develop a strategic vision that positions Argentine wine as integral part of our tourist products, together with the gastronomy and the natural and cultural attractions of our country ".
The signing of the agreement was made between Ángel Leotta, COVIAR president, and Horacio Reppucci, secretary FAEVYT, and Gabriela Testa, president of the Tourism Entity of Mendoza and Sergio Sánchez, FAEVYT Vice President Cuyo region, among other industry leaders.
