GOL launches direct flight from Santiago de Chile to Recife

The new route will start operating on July 6 and with it the Company expands to three international destinations offered in Pernambuco, Brazil


GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes began selling tickets today for its new international route Santiago de Chile - Recifes. Clients will have a direct flight available between the two cities every Saturday, starting on July 6, and GOL will be the only Company to operate the new destination from the capital of Pernambuco.

"This is another important step for our international expansion, our strategy is, increasingly, to provide a better travel experience for our Customers who can now travel between the two cities without the need to make connections or stopovers," said the director of the company. GOL Network Planning, Rafael Araujo.

Chile will be the third international destination of GOL with direct departures from Recife, which already has flights to Buenos Aires, Argentina and Montevideo, Uruguay. In addition to the capital of Pernambuco, the Company operates flights to Chile with direct routes from São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

The new route will have an average duration of 6 hours and 30 minutes, and will be operated with Boeing 737-800 or MAX aircraft, with capacity for up to 176 people and equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Clients will have at their disposal all the comfort and comfort already offered on the Company's international flights, such as on-board service with meals and beverages and the most complete connectivity and entertainment platform with movies, series and Live TV, at no additional cost. In addition, the passenger can also connect to the Internet during the flight, which will allow you to send and receive messages, access social networks and update e-mail, for example.
