The World Travel and Tourism Council today announces a list of high-level speakers for the World Summit to be held in Seville next April and for which more than 1,500 delegates are expected to attend


The World Summit of WTTC is the most relevant event of Travel and Tourism that brings together the world leaders of the public and private sectors. This year WTTC has the privilege of celebrating the World Summit in Seville, from April 2 to 4. The host of the Summit is the City of Seville and will be supported by the Junta de Andalucía and the Government of Spain. The World Summit will host more than 1,500 delegates, including more than 100 CEOs, members of WTTC, 300 national and international media, 20 ministerial delegations, as well as Heads of State.

WTTC is pleased to welcome the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, as guest of honor and keynote speaker.

Among the keynote speakers is also the presence of the President of the Government Pedro Sánchez, S.E. Margaret Kenyatta, First Lady of the Republic of Kenya and Felipe Calderón, President of Mexico.

The 2019 Summit will focus on the issue of Changemakers, inspired by the 500th anniversary of the departure of the first circumnavigation of the world from Seville and the global impact of this event.
