Francisco Javier García, Minister of Tourism of the Dominican Republic, led on Tuesday the First Forum of Negotiations between Chinese and Dominican investors and tour operators that seeks to materialize business to get Chinese tourists to visit the Dominican Republic.
Minister García highlighted the importance of this activity to attract Chinese tourists and investors to the Caribbean country and said that in his management no effort is spared to get Chinese tourists to choose the Dominican Republic as one of your favorite long distance destinations.

He indicated that this visit of the WTCF to the Dominican Republic comes at a very appropriate time, since the first of May is the first anniversary of the signing of diplomatic relations between both countries, and that this visit is the first cooperation and tourist exchange with A large delegation from China.

This visit of the WTCF group, the first one in the country, constitutes an opportunity to establish contacts with representatives of tourism sector entities, travel agents and local tour operators in order to further strengthen the cooperation of both countries in this matter, as well as increase the number of Chinese tourists to the Dominican Republic.
WTCF, constitutes the first international tourist organization with cities as main members; It has a total of 211 members comprising some 69 countries and territories and pursues among its objectives, promote and improve mutual understanding and prosperity of the global tourism industry.
