New General Director at Meliá Lima
The Spanish hotel chain announced the appointment of Lati Naimi as the new head of the hotel in the Peruvian capital
Meliá Hotels Internacional, the leading hotel company in Spain, is pleased to announce the appointment of Lati Naimi as General Director of Meliá Lima. The hotel is currently undergoing a renovation process worth one million dollars, led by the studio ASAH by the Spanish architect Álvaro Sanz, who proposes a functional and modern design in keeping with the elegance and the level of the brand. The inauguration of the hotel is scheduled for 2020.
Lati Nami has worked successfully in different hotels of Meliá Hotels & Resort and brings 15 years of experience in the sector.

He previously held the position of General Director of Gran Meliá Iguazú in Argentina, where he was in charge of supervising the renovation process prior to its opening, as well as the implementation of the standards of the Meliá Hotels International brand throughout the complex. Prior to his work in Argentina, he was Director of the Paradisus Palma Real Golf & Spa Resort hotel in the Dominican Republic and General Director of the Sol Sirenas Coral, Sol Cayo Santa María and Sol Cayo Coco hotels. Throughout her career, Lati Naimi has focused her goals on the wellbeing of guests and employees and has become a reference model within the brand for her contribution to the vision and values of Meliá Hotels International.
Naimi holds a degree from the Business School of Tourism Information and Marketing of Spain, a degree in Tourism from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and a one-year hotel management course at Cornell University. In addition, she speaks fluent Spanish and English, and has basic knowledge of German and Italian.
The renovation works of the Meliá Lima hotel began in 2018 with the remodeling of 112 of its 180 rooms and will continue until 2020 with the extension to other areas of the hotel such as the main lobby, restaurants and six event spaces. The complex, located in San Isidro, next to the Royal Plaza Salaverry and near the historic center of the city of Miraflores, has spacious and comfortable rooms, details and amenities that will soon be renovated, a great influence of the local culture, and Meliá brand services, including THE LEVEL, the premium service concept of the brand.
