Amadeus signs distribution agreement with Booking.com
Amadeus increases its hosting content by more than 30% thanks to its new alliance
Travelers want more options and more comfort when booking a trip, regardless of the way and where they do it. Finding the perfect place to rest at night can make a huge difference in the overall travel experience. Every day, more than 1.5 million nights are booked in 228 countries and territories around the world through the Booking.com platform. Thanks to the new alliance between Amadeus and Booking.com, travel distributors can now access the wide and diverse content of the latter. This number covers all kinds of modalities, from hotels, motels and resorts to houses, apartments and many other unique places to stay that Booking.com will now offer through the Amadeus travel platform.
As a result of this alliance, travel distributors will directly benefit from a 30% increase in the Amadeus hosting options: they will be able to access the new content in the coming months through various points of sale, such as Amadeus Selling Platform Connect and, for company travel bookings, via Amadeus cytric Travel & Expense.
Booking.com's wide range of accommodation options will be displayed along with complimentary travel content to make it easier for dealers to book a complete itinerary for travelers. This additional content will allow them to respond to travelers' demands of having a wide range of options, accessing different prices and enjoying the convenience of having a single itinerary for the entire trip, from beginning to end.
