Countdown to a new edition of FIEXPO Latin America
The event will take place from June 10 to 12 in Santiago de Chile. It is expected to exceed the results of the 2018 edition
A few days before the start of the 12th edition of FIEXPO Latin America, the Market Fair of Meetings and Incentives of Latin America and the Caribbean, the expectation of this event can already be felt in the industry.
On the one hand, the farewell of Chile, completing the third edition in this country that confirmed its capacity as a magnificent host for global calls, and on the other, the welcome to the next venue of FIEXPO, Colombia.
The business meetings that the invited buyers and commercial visitors will keep with the exhibitors, promise to surpass the expectations of all the participants, which will be complemented by the networking activities, work breakfasts with presentation of destinations, lunches, cocktails and other social activities , that contribute to strengthen the relations between the delegates and collaborate to the mutual recognition and trust.
The ICCA / ASAE Lab for Associations, ICCA Business Exchange, Next Generation Summit, together with the lectures, complement the academic activities prior to the Fair.
This year the Organization of FIEXPO Latin America, in a transcendent effort, managed to summon several of the most important leaders of the industry worldwide, who together for the first time in Latin America under the academic coordination of one of the FIEXPO Directors and Past President of ICCA, Mr. Arnaldo Nardone, will speak on topics of great interest and relevance.
Didier Scaillet (Belgium), CEO of SITE Global and with several years as Director in Europe of MPI, is a great leader who will detail the new trends and challenges that incentive trips face.
Christian Mutschlechner (Austria), one of the most recognized professionals of the sector in the world, was for more than 20 years Director of the Convention Bureau of Vienna, a city that remained at the top of the world in the collection of congresses and events for more of a decade.
Sherrif Karamat (USA), Executive Director and President of PCMA - Professional Convention Management Association, stands out worldwide for his management at the head of this entity.
But undoubtedly one of the most anticipated events of this call is the Latin American Political Forum on Meeting Tourism, which in its sixth edition will have the participation of more than 60 authorities, from Regional Tourism Directors to Ministers of this portfolio.
The three themes that triggered the debate in the Political Forum were selected based on the concerns and challenges of the destinations that work on policies and strategies for attracting events. They are:
- Emerging trends vs. Capital cities
-How to achieve the convergence of international associations and organizations to move the same path.
- Tourist services vs. services for meetings.
Once again, the high point of the social activities will be the FIEXPO Latin America Gala Dinner and Awards, which this year will feature a Colombian atmosphere in honor of the Fair's headquarters during the next three years.
The call is from June 10 to 12, in Santiago de Chile.
