Barceló Bávaro Grand Resort continues to bet heavily on the MICE segment. The luxurious Dominican resort just participated last week at IBTM Americas, an event that has been held at CDMX. To know the details, during the fair we consulted Zarina Montalvo, Commercial Director of the property. The executive commented: "This is the first time we participate, it is really interesting because the level of buyers is important, we already have more than 200,000 clients of groups per year."
"The main issuing markets are the United States, Canada, Europe and the different countries of Latin America are growing strongly."
"We have the largest convention center in Punta Cana with a maximum capacity of up to 5000 people in 13 rooms, it is located in the Barceló Beach (adults only), and in the Barceló Bávaro Palace we have 8 rooms with capacity for 3,000 people. We have structure in the different areas of the hotels that can be used as the theaters and gardens. "
