Fiexpo 2019 opened its doors in Santiago de Chile
A new and successful edition of the fair began yesterday that has achieved a great positioning in the MICE market. Next year the show will be held in Cartagena de Indias
The event that takes place during two days at Casa Piedra in Santiago de Chile has managed to become an integral platform that generates high value business, exchange of knowledge with leaders of the main international entities.
The first day was opened with a welcoming speech by Mónica Zalaquett, Undersecretary of Tourism of Chile.
Then a press conference was held to announce the SITE alliance with Fiexpo for the joint organization of events. It was attended by Arnaldo Nardone and Arnaldo Nardone and Sergio Baritussio by Fiexpo and Didier Scaillet, CEO of SITE.
FIEXPO Latin America has managed to become that integral platform that fully complies with everything mentioned above, generating high value business, knowledge exchange with leaders of the main international entities of the industry, permanent update of the main trends that dynamize our business, contact with intermediaries and influential people, both in the private and public sectors, and establishing new strategies to generate new opportunities for the destinations and companies that represent them.
FIEXPO and its alliance with ICCA International is not something minor; Today this Fair is the strategic partner of ICCA, being its Association Relations Partner in Latin America and its Spanish Champion, where together they have marked as main objective the development of a greater number of businesses coming from the professional associative market, helping the entities to work more professionally and also to explore the generation of new meetings and events that today can be achieved in the same way as those that take place in Europe, for example.

The XII edition of FIEXPO in Santiago includes new proposals and much innovation, but mainly because its business generation platform will continue to grow with new buyers from traditional sectors and other new sectors that have entered the market with new proposals and opportunities that already they are a reality in the region and multiply the business of meetings and events for all of Latin America.
The lunch of the first day has been sponsored by Argentina, while enjoying typical cuisine of that country, the buyers attended a presentation of the main Argentine destinations. While dinner has been in charge of Colombia, where guests have been immersed in their culture, cuisine and art.
It is worth noting the participation of Costa Rica, a destination that in addition to having a large and stand, is a sponsor of the buyers lounge.
On the other hand, the Fiexpo organization recognized yesterday the prize for the best stand in Peru, who has arrived at the event with a large delegation.
