The Convention Center of Costa Rica surpasses goals and adds key events
One year after the start of operations in the complex, we interviewed its General Manager Álvaro Rojas
The imposing National Center of Congresses and Conventions of Costa Rica located in the city of San Jose has had a cost of U $ 35 million and can host events of up to 6000 people but its versatility offers an ideal structure for meetings of all types of size.
During Fiexpo, we were able to talk with Álvaro Rojas, General Manager of the complex. "

"It is the second edition of Fiexpo in which we participate, it has been very profitable, and on August 1 we completed the first year of operations, strengthening the offer of the destination together with the associations and companies present."
"Our experience is that relations are germinated or sowed with potential clients, in some cases negotiations are concluded and in other cases we have been able to hold meetings to bid for international events at our venue."
"Last year we started in August and managed to hold 130 events, exceeding the projected sales by 9%, and this year's goal is to double that figure and bring the National Convention Center to the point of operational balance".
