The hotel chain has been recognized in the WTA, one of the most prestigious awards in the tourism market


After the success achieved by Barceló Hotel Group in the recent delivery of the World Travel Awards (WTA) in Europe, the chain has once again triumphed in what are considered to be the Oscars of tourism, but this time it has done so thanks to its wide offer in Latin America and Central America, where the Mallorcan group has 39 hotels and almost 16,000 rooms distributed in 9 countries. This wide and diversified offer, together with its commitment to quality and the intense marketing and commercial work that the group develops in this geographical area, has enabled this year to obtain one of the most valued awards of the 26th edition of these awards, that were delivered on Saturday July 13 at a gala held in La Paz (Bolivia): the "Best Hotel Brand of Mexico and Central America 2019".


In addition, the event reserved other important surprises to the group, since 4 of its establishments were chosen among the best in Latin America and Central America:


· Barceló Mexico Reforma (Mexico) Mexico's Leading Conference Hotel 2019.

· Royal Hideaway Playacar (Mexico): Mexico's Leading Resort 2019 and Mexico's Leading All-Inclusive Resort 2019.

· Barceló San Salvador: El Salvador's Leading Hotel 2019.

· Barceló Tambor: Costa Rica's Leading Resort 2019.

The person in charge of collecting these exclusive awards on behalf of Barceló Hotel Group and its 4 award-winning hotels was Mariano Luján, Corporate Commercial Director of the chain in Latin America.
