WTM Latin America retakes agenda of meetings of leaders

The board of directors of the event received executives from the corporate program to discuss innovations and changes for 2020


Luciane Leite, director of WTM Latin America, this week received executives Eduardo Murad, executive director of ALAGEV (Latin American Association of Event Managers and Corporate Travel); Gervásio Tanabe, executive director of ABRACORP (Brazilian Association of Corporate Travel) and Marina Mio Shimada, coordinator of the 2019 management of TMG (Travel Management Group) to discuss strategies and innovations aimed at corporate tourism.

At the meeting, the participants reviewed the performance of the entities within WTM Latin America 2019 and discussed the actions and formats that should enhance the participation of the participants and corporate groups within the event.

Eduardo Murad reinforced the importance of opening new opportunities and ideas. "These meetings produce a very rich brainstorm regarding the yearnings of the market." For its part, Marina Mio Shimada highlighted the qualification of the public present in the 2019 edition and the importance of maintaining and increasing the presence of these professionals in the 8th edition. "WTM Latin America is a valuable opportunity for industry professionals to generate business and networking, and the qualification of the corporate public as well as the actions taken for training and dissemination of relevant content add a high value to the activities," he concludes.

The Corporate Travel Area is a space within WTM Latin America dedicated to corporate travel managers and meeting planners that addresses issues related to the sector and promotes collaborative and relevant discussions for the segment.

The 8th edition of the event will take place in São Paulo, from March 31 to April 2, 2020.
