The event will be held in the city of Salta (Argentina) from August 3 to 8
The province of Salta will receive the next edition of the 8th ICCA Latin America Meeting (International Congress and Convention Association) and the 13th Client Suppliers Workshop, in true milestone for its positioning within the MICE segment. This meeting represents a great opportunity for the province to establish contact with the decision makers of the associations that schedule the events in the region and show them the potential as a destination for their next events. The relationship with ICCA partners across the continent is also important.
Meeting tourism is a segment of the market that makes an important contribution to communities and is a great generator of different jobs. This requires continuous training and updating of professionals in the sector as an essential condition to continue the growth and improvement of services, to place Latin America and the Caribbean in a high level of world class events.
Salta has been the first Argentine province to apply quality standards. To register in the register of coordinators and event organizers, it is necessary to undergo mandatory training provided by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the province. This training is not only for directors, but for the middle management of meetings tourism.
It should be noted that Salta continues to grow in its connectivity to the world, the first flight of the Panama - Salta air route of the COPA Airlines company that will consist of two weekly frequencies has just been announced. The Salta Panama frequency will feature Boeing 737-800 aircraft with capacity for 16 passengers in executive class and 144 in the main cabin.
