After five years, Medellín again received the National Congress of Travel and Tourism Agencies, with great lessons for participants, and a record in attendance that exceeded 650 records.
The speakers, of different nationalities, stood out for their trajectories and great experiences, sharing ideas and new tools of digital marketing, teamwork and applications, to improve business competitiveness.
“We must know what processes we are doing well and what aspects we can improve within our companies, so we can optimize processes and have the opportunity to stand out in the market. We are more and more pleased to know what tourism entrepreneurs expect each year to hold our Congress, "said Paula Cortés Calle, executive president of ANATO.
He added: "We feel very supported by the National Government. We had the presence of Marta Lucía Ramírez, Vice President of the Republic, we received greetings from Dr. Iván Duque, President of La República; and José Manuel Restrepo, Minister of Commerce Industry and Tourism ".
During his speech, Marta Lucía Ramírez, Vice President of La República, highlighted the work carried out by ANATO over 70 years, reflecting the interest that Colombian society has in boosting the tourism sector in the country.
Finally, Ramírez referred to Congress as a crucial meeting for the growth of the country's tourism industry, highlighted the Government's road map, highlighted the cultural events of Colombia and the support to the Travel Agencies in maintaining Resolution 890 of 2010 on the equality of tariff content, an aspect that he warned, work is being done by Civil Aviation.
