IHG announced that its avid hotels brand continues to expand, with almost 200 signatures now in new locations


IHG® (InterContinental Hotels Group), one of the world's leading hotel companies, announced that its avid ™ hotels brand continues to expand, with almost 200 signatures now in new locations. More than 60 signed hotels are under construction, or have approved design and construction plans. Accelerating international growth is key to the overall expansion of the brand, and the company recently marked the beginning of the first location of avid hotels in Mexico.
IHG leaders joined with the owners of the new Fresnillo hotel, MBA Operator based in Mexico, as well as, with the owners of other future avid hotels in Mexico, guests and senior government officials to celebrate the brand's entry into the market. The hotel is expected to open in the spring of 2020, will have 95 rooms distributed on six floors, in an area known for its commercial and business activity and will be located on Boulevard Paseo del Mineral S / N, Col. Emiliano Zapata , in Fresnillo, Zacatecas.

The avid hotels brand is carefully designed to meet guests' expectations regarding the basics done exceptionally well at a great value. Each avid hotel has a modern and fresh design, vibrant and open public spaces and rooms made for a restful night. The brand recently improved its complimentary breakfast "Good all round" with new and exclusive hot and abundant products, than in the US. They include a breakfast sandwich and a bowl of scrambled eggs, served differently every day and will adapt to the Mexican market.

The avid hotel Fresnillo will include the four main features of the brand:
