Universal Orlando Resort unveils new Halloween Horror Nights scare areas
Visitors will find five zones of fear based on disturbing original stories: Sony Pictures' next "Zombieland: Double Tap" and the horror metal heavy metal terrors of Rob Zombie
Bloodthirsty zombies, extraterrestrial beings, chainsaw-wielding assassins, and more will invade the streets of Universal Studios Florida park in brand new scare zones at Halloween Horror Nights 2019 - the world's premier Halloween event.
Visitors will pass through five fear zones filled with threatening actors who will chase them with every move: they will fall prey to zombies as they enter the world of Zombieland, based on Sony Pictures' classic cult hit 2009 and its sequel. Released October 18th, they try to escape the horrifying creatures inspired by the pop music of horror icon Rob Zombie; and find themselves within three original nightmares created by the twisted minds of Universal Orlando's entertainment team - Anarch-cade, Vanity Ball and Vikings Undead.
Zombieland: Double Tap: As visitors enter the streets of New York, they will be thrown into the world of Zombie, where they must escape bloodthirsty zombies or become a midnight treat.
Rob Zombie Hellbilly Deluxe: Inspired by Rob Zombie's heavy horror metal, visitors will be surrounded by extraterrestrial beings, brutal maniacs and menacing machines as they scream Zombie's haunted letters on the streets of San Francisco.
Anarch-cade: On Avenue of the Stars, visitors will enter a sinister 1980s-inspired game room where they will have only one life. Your fear will increase as you try to escape a band of neon killers, highlighted in black lights with chainsaws.
Vikings Undead: Brutal warriors with horned helmets will rise from the grave and take over Central Park. Visitors will fall victim to skeletal combatants and the undead, reanimated bodies that have channeled their vindictive rage into endless bloody attacks.
Vanity Ball: On the streets of Hollywood, visitors will quickly discover what beauty is pain as they watch artists transform willing participants into horrible living works of art.
Halloween Horror Nights 2019 will also feature 10 meticulously themed haunted houses, based on everything from the biggest names in horror and major cinematographic works to crazed favorite cult movies and original abominations. And when they need a break from screaming, visitors can enjoy live entertainment, including the new Academy of Villains: Altered States, featuring a killer mix of dance and performance in the Fear Factor Live area, and a brand new show that will debut on first time at Halloween Horror Nights. Stay tuned - additional information about the new show will be revealed soon.
Halloween Horror Nights 2019 takes place on select nights from September 6 to November 2. For more information, visit www.halloweenhorrornights.com/orlando.
