Event, organized at Homeland Week, marked the presentation of the new brand of the Institute and its programs

 


The Embratur (Brazilian Institute of Tourism) released on Thursday (5), a series of projects to promote the country abroad and promote international tourism in the country. The mayor, Gilson Machado Neto, presented the "New Embratur", in which patriotism and responsible use of public money will be his guidelines.
“We work night and day to recover the damage generated by the mismanagement of previous governments. Embratur seeks to modernize what is practiced in the market to disclose with quality and, at reduced cost, the country abroad, ”he said.
On the occasion, former soccer player Ronaldinho Gaúcho and singer Amado Batista, present at the event, were announced as Ambassadors of Brazilian Tourism. They will voluntarily assist in various campaigns to be carried out by the municipality. "Tourism is very important for generating jobs and regaining our image internationally," said the soccer world champion for the national team.

Embratur's Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Osvaldo Matos de Melo Júnior, explained that celebrities are carefully chosen and will make their image and social networks available to publicize the beauties of the country. “You take the case of Ronaldinho, a person who has almost 100 million followers in his networks and voluntarily helps us at no cost for patriotism. This attitude is invaluable. ”
He added that the expectation of the municipality is that, by the end of the Bolsonaro government, the number of international tourists in the country doubles from the current number of 6 million annually. “Just by issuing the visa to countries like the United States and Canada, we have already had over 200% increase in demand for our country. We will increasingly invest, even in intelligence (Big Data), to achieve our goals. ”

King of the Rolê
The first project presented was the reality show "King of Rolê". In it, foreigners should send videos of up to 1 minute, explaining why they should be chosen to spend 30 days getting to know Brazil for free. The selected will know the 5 regions of the country and will be received by ambassadors (Ronaldinho, Amado Batista, Richard Rasmussen, Renzo Gracie, Bruno and Marrone).

Tourism Ambassadors
Celebrities and athletes will be chosen to voluntarily disclose Brazil and its beauties on their social networks. They will receive a wallet and certificate from Brazilian Tourism Ambassadors and will receive material to help in marketing.

Bring +5
Speak well of Brazil and encourage tourism. This is the motto of the “High Five Brazil”, whose focus will be to teach Brazilians living abroad to show ad abroad the main tourist destinations in the country. A mobile app will help in the process and indicate the most successful Brazilians.

Motherland Week
Before the event, the authorities present participated in the erection of the National Pavilion at Embratur headquarters. A plaque honoring President Jair Messias Bolsonaro's visit to Gilson Machado Neto's inauguration of the institute was inaugurated. "A simple tribute from a team that is proud to work with President Bolsonaro for the recovery of the country."
Nabhan Garcia, Special Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, represented President Jair Bolsonaro at the event. The ceremony was also attended by tourism secretaries, representatives of the federal government and parliamentarians.
