Costa Rica is promoted in IMEX as a MICE destination
The Central American country participates in the event that takes place in Las Vegas where more than 11 thousand buyers and 3 thousand suppliers from all over the world meet
Costa Rica is once again part of the IMEX America, the benchmark event for the MICE segment that started this Mars and ends today. The delegation made up of 28 companies and the Costa Rican Tourism Institute, has a stand showing impressive images of the national tourism offer and spaces for one-on-one negotiations.
“We are very proud to participate in one of the largest fairs in the world focused on the segment of meetings tourism. The joint work of the Costa Rican public and private sector has allowed the development and execution of the marketing strategy, focused on positioning Costa Rica as a solid destination that offers high quality service, suppliers with experiences and suitable spaces for meetings and events competitive. We are sure that these efforts will generate even more business in the medium term, ”said Rafael Quesada, coordinator of the tourism marketing strategy for ICT meetings.
In addition, the country used for the first time the image of the international campaign “Only The Essentials” aimed precisely at the market in the United States and Canada, and officially launched at the beginning of September.
Also, an action focused on carbon neutrality was carried out, since buyers' emissions were compensated, always with the objective of including sustainability as a transversal axis.
