WTM Latin America prepares its 2020 edition

The director of WTM Latin America, Luciane Leite, and the president of the Advisory Council of the event, Adriana Cavalcanti, received the advisers at the headquarters of Reed Exhibitions, to discuss strategies and innovations for the 2020 edition, which takes place on March 31 to April 2, at the Expo Center Norte, in the city of São Paulo.

The great novelty presented by the event management is the flexibility of the commercial formats that, from next year, will be added by WTM Live, a set of special actions sponsored by exhibitors or not of the event, and focused on connecting brands with B2B public.

The group also discussed tools and activities that will give the event a differentiated and more connected dynamic with the public, as well as high quality content and very useful for the professional life of the participants.

In the end, the advisors contributed insights on the activities already confirmed for the 2020 edition, such as Women in Travel, Travel Forward and the Responsible Tourism award, which will recognize the best initiatives in four categories. "Today, we leave this meeting with many viable ideas and an exceptional knowledge exchange, because we have professionals of the highest level with us," Adriana emphasizes.

The Board meeting also featured a presentation by Camila Borba Lefevre, managing partner of Viera Rezende Advogados, who spoke with the counselors about the General Law on Data Protection, and explained the regulation on what companies can or cannot do with the data collected from people.

Luciane underlines the commitment of the directors and the excellent ideas that emerged from the meeting. “The work for the construction of WTM Latin America is continuous. We look for references and trends that can be applied in our next meeting, and the opening of channels that we have with our advisors effectively contributes to an event of more quality and delivery, "concludes the executive.
