FIT 2019 opens tomorrow in Buenos Aires
The show runs until Tuesday at La Rural and will feature interesting innovations
Tomorrow opens in Buenos Aires a new edition of the International Tourism Fair. In addition to the traditional format, this year brings among its novelties the possibility that travel and tourism agencies can market their proposals within the exhibition. The promotional campaign called “Fit Sale” will offer opportunities to travel through Argentina, not only during the days of the fair, but will continue online throughout the week until October 12 through the Sectur platform.
It should be noted that the 2018 edition brought together 1,614 exhibitors and attracted an audience of 99,207 visitors, in an area of 34,625 meters of exhibition. It was attended by 52 countries, 16 more than in 2016.
“There is no doubt about the place that our Fair occupies in the world tourist calendar, a Fair that in these 24 years has grown both in number of attendees and in exhibitors, countries and innovative proposals and that this year brings, among its novelties, the possibility that - for the first time - travel and tourism agencies can sell within the Fair action to which we will add the novelty of FIT Sale that will be extended even after the end of the fair so that everyone can buy their vacations in FIT, of a or another way ”commented Gustavo Hani, president of FIT.
“Tourism is current, future and development and our International Tourism Fair is the area in which the business of our sector, the interests and needs of current travelers come together, as well as the impressive contribution that our industry makes both in the national and international level, whether in terms of economic development opportunities, generation of new businesses, such as enjoyment, knowledge and pleasure in the travel experience, ”concluded the director.
