Great presence of the tourism sector on the third day of FIT
On a third day full of activities, the 2019 fair opened its doors for professionals in the sector
Among the highlights of the day was the launch of the 46th edition of the Annual Congress of Travel Agents FAEVYT that will take place on April 16 and 17, 2020 in the City of Calafate, with the presence of the president of FIT and FAEVyT Gustavo Hani; Valeria Pelliza Secretary of Tourism of Santa Cruz; Alexis Simunovic, Secretary of Tourism of Calafate; Pablo Godoy Tourism Director of Santa Cruz and Ruben Martínez President of the FAEVYT Calafate Regional. “Respecting the federal character of our Congress, we seek to alternate the headquarters to show the wide range of tourist destinations that our country has, giving framework, in addition, to the challenges that we propose from our sector to continue growing and contributing to develop the tourism industry. Agencies have a central role and Congress allows us to continue adapting to an ever-changing context and discuss future challenges, ”said Gustavo Hani during the presentation.
The day began the traditional Business Rounds that began with great assistance and the expectation of exceeding the scheduled appointments the previous year. A space that year after year is revalued with more and better business alternatives and that this year has the participation of more than 600 companies registered to participate that will generate approximately 4,400 appointments between buyers and sellers, surpassing the 2018 edition by approximately 10%.
On the other hand, with the presence of Gustavo Hani, president of FIT and FAEVYT; The Minister of Transportation of the Nation Guillermo Dietrich and the Secretary of Tourism of the Nation Gustavo Santos signed an agreement whereby the Salta Transportation Authority (AMT) recognizes and incorporates all carriers authorized by the CNRT. One more step towards simplification that simplifies procedures and ratings within the tourist transport sector.
The first day of the "Travel Forum Latam", held in the FIT TECH Pavilion, was the ideal framework to expose and discuss innovation issues about the present and future of tourism. Tourism and sporting events, the relationship between online and offline sales and technology in strategic management were some of the themes presented during the day before an attentive and participatory audience that filled the forum.
The CocinAR auditorium, another of the great protagonists of the day, was constituted as a key space when spreading the gastronomic particularities of each corner of the country and deepening the promotion of the Enogastronomic Tourism plan and the Plan and the CocinAR Network. At the end of the day, Gustavo Santos, Secretary of Tourism made a toast with Gustavo Hani, president of FIT and FAEVYT and Aldo Elías, president of the CAT and the whole team that carried out the Cook Plan.
