The Central American country set up a booth with operators in order to show that they have many treasures to discover
Panama has once again participated in FIT, an event that culminated yesterday in Buenos Aires and has gathered more than 103,000 national and international visitors. There we had the chance to interview Isabella Zebede, an official of the Tourism Promotion Fund of Panama. The executive mentioned: "We have come to FIT with the objective that the Argentines know our country better, that they discover the natural attractions and beaches. As part of our stand, operators have participated with pre-scheduled appointments to boost their sales in Argentina."
"Today, our main market is the USA and we have been growing a lot in Costa Rica, Colombia and Ecuador. We also seek to strengthen Brazil and Argentina."
"We are going to inaugurate a new convention center that will help develop the MICE segment. We are also adding new hotels in the beach area."
"We continue to promote our country through events and diffusion caravans, in addition there will be a promotion with Copa where we will offer a stop of up to 1 week so that visitors can take advantage of their time in Panama".
