Rosario Dawson stars in Hilton campaign that promotes travel to Puerto Rico
The hotel chain launched an inspiring campaign that focuses on the actress and aims to remind travelers of the diversity and attractiveness of the island of charm
Hilton announced today the launch of an inspiring campaign aimed at promoting tourism to the island of Puerto Rico. "Carry On Puerto Rico" is starring actress Rosario Dawson, whose family is originally from the island. The campaign captures the spirit of one of the most precious destinations in the Caribbean and expresses how visitors can immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the island, as well as in its rich and vibrant culture, from its highest level beaches to its contagious music and its varied crazy gastronomy.
The creative campaign also reminds travelers of the wide range of hotel options on the island and promotes Hilton's presence in almost every corner of it. With eight hotels and resorts ranging from the recently remodeled Caribbean Hilton and the tropical Embassy Suites by Hilton San Juan Hotel & Casino, to Hilton Ponce Golf & Casino Resort and Embassy Suites by Hilton Dorado del Mar Beach Resort, there is a Hilton hotel for each type of traveler.

The campaign was developed in collaboration with Matador Network and highlights a collection of creative assets in the form of video, social and digital content that will reach different audiences in a variety of channels.

As part of “Carry On Puerto Rico,” Hilton also commissioned four influential local artists who painted suitcases with original designs that evoked colorful landscapes of Puerto Rico, the tropical atmosphere and the historic charm of the island. Hilton will highlight the designs and guest artists in four inspiring short films that tell the "behind the scenes" campaign "Carry On". Consumers can also get involved by posting a photo on Instagram that makes them think of Puerto Rico, be it art, food, beach or music. They will then participate in a social media raffle where four people will have the opportunity to win one of the painted suitcases along with a three-night, four-day trip to Puerto Rico.
