DoubleTree by Hilton debuts in Nicaragua
Located in the capital Managua, the 147-room hotel is the first brand property in the country
Hilton announced today the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Managua, a six-story hotel with 147 rooms in the residential, safe and exclusive area of Villa Fontana, in this city. Owned by Grupo Amano Internacional S.A., the modern hotel is the latest addition to the growing DoubleTree by Hilton portfolio.
"By celebrating the brand's 50th anniversary this year, we are proud to see its rapid growth worldwide and specifically in our region," said Martha Alfaro, general manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Managua. "A bustling metropolis, Managua is an important driving point for tourists visiting the country, and we are delighted to mark our presence with the opening of our first DoubleTree by Hilton property in the market."
After a renovation of more than US $ 3 million, guests can experience the brand's warm welcome and feel at home at check-in, as the hotel has spacious suites and rooms, avant-garde facilities and several gastronomic options
Each of the 147 contemporary rooms features natural colors inspired by the hotel's surroundings, from lakes and volcanoes to islands and mountains, along with the decoration of artisans and artists from the area. The rooms are equipped with elegant and modern amenities such as Sweet DreamsTM by DoubleTree bedding, 50-inch LCD televisions, spacious bathrooms, exclusive bath products and a kitchenette with microwave.
Travelers seeking relaxation have a variety of options, such as the city's largest outdoor pool, a state-of-the-art gym and a large outdoor terrace overlooking Lake Managua and the mountains of Nicaragua.
Guests can dine at the Kyoto restaurant, a first-class Japanese restaurant with signature dishes such as Kyoto Maki and Sushi Boats. Overlooking the lake, Las Maderas Bar offers delicious cocktails, beers and comfort food, while Las Isletas restaurant offers a carefully crafted menu of local and international cuisine for breakfast and lunch. For meetings and events, DoubleTree by Hilton Managua has more than 550 square meters of flexible event space. With capacity for 360 people, the four meeting rooms vary in size from a small conference room with capacity for 12 people to expansive ballrooms of more than 275 square meters.
