The 40th edition of WTM London began on Monday (4). The president of Embratur (Brazilian Tourism Institute), Gilson Machado Neto, attends the event, which brings together 30 Brazilian co-exhibitors, as well as eight destinations (São Paulo, Salvador, Rio Grande Norte, Maranhão, Amazonas, Ilhabela, Foz do Iguaçu and Ceará), and highlights the intense movement of work on this first day. The fair runs until Wednesday (6).

“With an intense movement, one of the busiest stands, and bringing to London the new international promotion brand in Brazil, we closed the activities the first day with meetings with the media trade of Europe, China and the Middle East, as well as representatives of associations. related to tourism. We realize that, increasingly, Brazil receives the world's trust, ”said the president of Embratur.

Stand out for meetings of representatives of the Institute with international players such as Latam, Reed Travel Exhibitions, Norwegian Air, Asta, Air Europa and Virgin Atlantic. The Brazilian presence is marked by 41 exhibitors, including their own stands and co-exhibitors of Embratur.

In addition to receptors, operators, airlines and hotel chains, and eight national destinations, Brazil is still represented by Rio de Janeiro and Bahia, with its own stands, in addition to the Central Consortium of Brazil, which brings together the states of the Federal District, Goiás , Maranhão. , Mato Grosso, Moto Grosso do Sul, Roraima and Tocantins.
