Aeromexico reports October 2019 traffic results
The airline transported 1 million 704 thousand passengers; a 5.2% year-on-year decrease
Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. today reported October 2019 operational results. The airline transported 1 million 704 thousand passengers in October; a 5.2% year-on-year decrease. International passenger numbers decreased by 19.0%, while domestic passenger numbers increased by 2.5%.
Demand, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPKs), decreased by 7.1%, year-on-year. Aeromexico's capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs), decreased by 7.2% year-on-year.
Aeromexico's October load factor was 81.5%, a 0.2 p.p. increase versus October 2018.
During October 2019, Aeromexico's planned fleet included thirteen 737 MAX aircraft. The 737 MAX was grounded during March 2019.
