Appointment of new authorities in Aerolineas Argentinas
Mr. Pablo Ceriani is the new president of the national airline
The Assembly of Shareholders of the Airlines Group appointed the new authorities of the company. Mr. Pablo Ceriani will be the new president of the state airline. The Assembly, simultaneously, accepted the resignation of outgoing executives.
At the corporate headquarters of the company, in Aeroparque, the shareholders' meetings of Aerolineas Argentinas and Austral Airlines were held at noon. In both companies, Ceriani was elected as chairman of the board.
The Assembly also accepted the resignation of engineer Luis Malvido, until now president of both companies.
Founded in 1950, Aerolineas Argentinas is one of the leading companies in South America. From its bases of operations at the Aeroparque Jorge Newbery and the Ezeiza International Airport, in Buenos Aires, the company flies to 22 international destinations in America and Europe. Together with Austral Airlines, Aerolineas Argentinas operates flights to 37 destinations in the country and provides dynamic links between Argentina and the region through its relaunched operations center at Jorge Newbery Airpark.
