Ricardo Sosa assumes at INPROTUR
The official was serving as Undersecretary of Tourism of Santiago del Estero and from now on will command the non-state public entity that promotes Argentina in the world
According to what was known, the designation of Sosa was requested by the President of the Nation, Alberto Fernández and from now on he will have the responsibility of planning positioning and promotion strategies in all countries that are considered potentially emitting tourists to country. In that context, the Inprotur, of which President Lammens is, is an entity created with the objective of enhancing Argentina's tourism presence throughout the planet, for them it is responsible for the generation and participation in international fairs, actions cooperated with airlines and wholesale operators, commercial actions in different countries, conducting familiarization tours of foreign operators within the country, making Fam Press for foreign journalists within the country, capturing international events that make Argentina's presence in the world visible and at the same time produce a economic and tourist impact in the country and generate events or strategies for positioning the country worldwide.
Sosa, closely linked to the Governor of that province, Gerardo Zamora, was Assistant Secretary of Tourism of the Province between 2013 and this past Friday, he was the first Director of the Forum Convention Center Santiago del Estero between 2012 and 2013, during his tenure as Assistant Secretary , was two consecutive years President of the Argentine North Tourism Entity, was President of the Federal Tourism Council during the government transition of 2015 and 2016, made dissertations for the Termatalia World Fair in Spain, Mexico and Brazil, was President of the Provincial Organization Committee of the world events Dakar and MotoGP, among other topics.
