Colombia will demonstrate at FITUR 2020 why it is a leading musical power and one of the trendiest tourist destinations in the world.
The visitor who comes to your stand will enter the Rhythm Fest, a rhythm festival whose motto is “Visit Colombia Feel the rhythm”. A typical access arch will give way to 428 square meters of sound route through its territory at the rate of reggaeton, cumbia, salsa or champeta, among others. During the week, the party will be in the Silence Dance format (the performances will be heard through headphones) and the weekend in the conventional style.
Several musicians will set the pace live: Yuba, a group with a dance career with more than 15 years of experience, will carry a show of caleña sauce that highlights the speed and all the flavor of Valle del Cauca; and La Rueda, a musical group that will offer a musical tour through various regions of Colombia, such as the Pacific, the Caribbean and the Andean region.
The Rhythm Fest will also feature gastronomic tastings of the country's exportable offer; a photo booth that will print the photos at the moment to take them as a souvenir; a station of face paint in the purest festive style; a tasting bar of the renowned Colombian coffee and other surprises to discover.
“Colombia has had a year of historical figures in tourism. In addition, between January and September, hotel occupancy reached 56.7%, the highest in the last 15 years. And it is that the country has a powerful offer that we hope will continue to expand in 2020, and the starting point will be FITUR, ”said Flavia Santoro, president of ProColombia, the Colombian Government entity that promotes investment, exports, tourism and The Country Brand.
The delegation will consist of 50 Colombian businessmen, including operators, hotels, tourism entities and unions in search of visitors for sun and beach products, culture, nature and adventure or meetings, as well as the promotion of the tourism offer for the segment LGBT
