Costa Rica will have a prominent presence in FITUR
The Central American country will participate in the strategic fair that will be held from January 22 to 26 in Madrid
Costa Rica participates once again in FITUR, an event organized by IFEMA that will take place from January 22 to 26 in Madrid. The fair opens the season of major events and is a must for those seeking to establish or enhance business operations with the tourism industry in Spain and the rest of Europe.
In the previous edition, FITUR has broken a record of participation with 10,487 companies from 165 countries / regions, 142,642 professionals and 110,848 visitors from the general public.
The Minister of Tourism of Costa Rica, María Amalia Revelo, will be present during the days dedicated to professionals, demonstrating that Spain is a key issuing market for her country.
Costa Rica will be present at the fair with more than 40 Costa Rican private sector companies - Hall 3. Stand 3C02B–. Again he will participate with a striking stand that shows the natural beauty of the country with elements of the Tica culture such as artistic manifestations, gastronomy and typical dances.
As a novelty, the stand will have an experiential room where visitors can experience first hand the feeling of being in the middle of the rainforest in a new space to test the senses.
The destination will bet on continuing support for small and medium-sized tourism companies, for the strategic union of joint and organized actions between the public and private sectors to improve the quality of the tourism product and for air connectivity.
In addition, it will focus efforts on the consolidation of tourism development centers, created in areas with high potential for development, a differential offer and with close contact with the culture, traditions and gastronomy of towns and cities. A clear example is the province of Guanacaste, which they want to make known, even more, from different points of view.
In this sense, efforts will continue to continue positioning Costa Rica as a sustainable destination for the whole year, with multiple alternatives from well-being, adventure, bird watching, nature and rural tourism, culture, honeymoons, sun and beach, families, meetings and conventions or cruises, revealing new areas with high potential for the development of hotels, products and tourism segments through a joint integration of marketing actions, public relations and together with the professional tourism sector.
