Hilton today announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Bogotá Salitre AR, a 199-room hotel in the famous Salitre sector in Bogotá. Owned by Grupo AR, the recently renovated hotel is the latest addition to the growing portfolio of DoubleTree by Hilton hotels, one of the 17 world-class Hilton brands.

Ideally located in the country's capital, DoubleTree by Hilton Bogotá Salitre AR offers convenient access to the Corferias Convention Center and the Agora Convention Center, as well as nearby attractions, such as the Simón Bolívar Metropolitan Park, the Movistar Arena, the Museum del Oro and the Gran Estación Shopping Center. The hotel is also a short drive away from the United States Embassy and El Dorado International Airport.

Rooms and Amenities
With a contemporary design with comfortable elements, the 199 rooms offer a panoramic view of the city and the nearby mountains. The rooms are equipped with modern and elegant amenities and feature Sweet DreamsTM by DoubleTree bedding, 55-inch LCD televisions, spacious bathrooms and exclusive bath products. The property is also one of the few hotels in the area that has indoor hot tubs in select suites.
Travelers looking to relax have a variety of options, including a 24-hour gym, executive lounge and beauty salon. Guests can also enjoy facial and body rituals at the spa, which also has a Water Circuit that includes:

• Playful pool equipped with bubble volcanoes, cascading jets, oxygenation beds and a jacuzzi.
• Showers with various levels of pressure and temperatures.
• Pediluvium: Treatment of paths with stone path and river edge
• Flotarium water capsule with Epsom salts, which simulate the density of the Dead Sea

Food
Guests can dine at the Ka restaurant, which offers a unique atmosphere and a delicious fusion of international and Colombian gourmet cuisine. Travelers can enjoy special drinks and snacks at the bar, before heading to a table to enjoy exclusive dishes created by executive chef Jorge Vélez, from a salmon tartare with Greek yogurt, bumblebees and oriental sauce, to supreme chicken with Crispy banana, cape gooseberry sauce and wild rice.

Meetings and events
For meetings and events, DoubleTree by Hilton Bogotá Salitre AR has more than 1,000 square meters of flexible space. With 12 meeting rooms, one with a panoramic view of the city, the rooms vary in size from a small VIP room to large ballrooms with a total capacity of 600 guests.

Hilton currently has a portfolio of more than 150 hotels and resorts open to receive travelers in the Caribbean and Latin America, with more than 20 hotels in Colombia. The company continues to seek additional growth opportunities in the region and currently has a strong portfolio of around 95 hotels in development throughout the region. The opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Bogotá Salitre AR demonstrates the company's commitment to its continued regional expansion, including the opening of five new properties in the next five years in Colombia.
