WHO holds urgent meeting for coronavirus expansion

Fears about an international spread of a coronavirus outbreak increased on Wednesday with new cases detected in China and reports of possible infected as far away as Mexico and the United States.

The virus spread from Wuhan to other urban centers in China such as Beijing, Shanghai, Macao and Hong Kong. Outside, Thailand has confirmed four cases, and the United States, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan have reported one.
WHO has shared with authorities of the different countries documents for surveillance, laboratory, clinical guide, IIH control, risk communication, resource management and transmission control from animals.
