WTM Latin America presents an event application
The marketing manager of WTM Latin America, Thais Del Ben, commented: “With the Emperia APP, the information will be captured in a more fluid and organized way. That will allow networking and business to be more agile”
In each edition, WTM Latin America seeks solutions that facilitate and approximate visitors and exhibitors for business generation. For the 8th edition, which takes place from March 31 to April 2, at the Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo, WTM Latin America launches the Emperia application, conceived with the proposal of capturing visitor data through scanning of the QR-Code of the credential.
The marketing manager of WTM Latin America, Thais Del Ben, makes considerations about the role that technology has played as a business facilitator. “With Emperia, information will be captured in a more fluid and organized way. That will allow networking and business to be more agile, ”he says.
The application is one of the novelties of the 2020 edition. The data reader collects the information of the visitor's credential - respecting the General Law of Data Protection -, imports and stores it immediately in the electronic device chosen by the user. In this way, all information, data and contacts about visitors are recorded in a fast and sustainable way, which decreases the distribution of business cards and, consequently, influences the reduction of paper use, in addition to organizing the data permanently.
In the application it is possible to include annotations about the content of the conversation / meeting to create a review of the contact, as well as classify the contact from one to five stars. The leads generated may subsequently be downloaded from the link that will be sent to the exhibitors at the end of each day of the event. Access to the application is free for exhibitors, and enters as one of the tools made available by the event to increase the commitment of visitors and the ROI of the exhibitors.
The differential feature of Emperia is that it captures and stores data offline, that is, without the use of the internet. What does not compromise the use in a space with limited resources of use of mobile data or wifi.
“We know that agility is a necessity in today's world. With Emperia, the information will be available in real time, and organized simultaneously for the team that is in the field during the event, which further increases the amount of data collected from the participants. A real advantage for exhibitors in relation to time and new business, ”concludes Luciane Leite, director of the event.
The application will be available shortly on Android and iOS platforms.
