WTM Latin America opens accreditation for the 8th edition

The event that will take place from March 31 to April 2 at the Expo Center Norte of São Paulo offers free registration until March 30


Registration for the 2020 edition of WTM Latin America, the main event of the tourism sector aimed at the B2B public in Latin America, is open and can be done through this link. The event, which takes place from March 31 to April 2, at the Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo, offers free registration until March 30. The value of the inscriptions made at the fairgrounds will be 150.00 reais.

For this edition, around 600 exhibiting companies of 50 nationalities and a large amount of content for visitors are expected. Among the novelties are the delivery of the 1st edition of the Responsible Tourism Award; the launch of the Emperia application, which was developed with the proposal to help exhibitors capture visitor data by scanning the credential's QR code; in addition to the Student Program in partnership with the ITT - Institute of Travel & Tourism UK.

The successful initiatives of the last edition continue, such as the "Agent on the Road" program, carried out in partnership with the Interamerican Network; the “Women in Travel”, in partnership with Alessandra Alonso, founder of “Women in Travel CIC”, a company dedicated to training women entrepreneurs in the travel and tourism sector, and Mariana Aldrigui, professor and researcher specialized in tourism with more with 20 years of experience and member of the advisory board of WTM Latin America since 2016.

In this edition, Travel Forward gains reinforcements. Made in pilot format in 2019, the space is consolidated as a novelty in the event and will feature the participation of exhibitors from the tourism and technology segment, in addition to the qualified content.

Another novelty is a registration questionnaire dedicated to the buyers of the WTM Buyers ’Club, which would further qualify the level of buyers attending the event, by allowing more clearly identify the profile of those visitors.

The accreditation is open to professionals in the travel and tourism sector; press (credentials exclusively for publishers, journalists, photographers, broadcasters and bloggers / influencers); government authorities and buyers (only buyers who meet the program criteria will receive the WTM Buyers ’Club credential).
