Beginning February 13, 2020, just in time for Holy Week, Spirit Airlines (NYSE: SAVE) will begin direct flights to Cancun (CUN) from five new cities in the US

In 2003, the fastest growing airline in the United States opened its first international flight to Cancun. With more than 17 years of service to Cancun, the airline continues to invest in the destination with even more direct connectivity options to the US.

The expansion of Cancun - which includes direct flights to Pittsburgh (PIT), Cleveland (CLE), Austin (AUS), Nashville (BNA), and Philadelphia (PHL), in addition to the six existing flights - positions Spirit Airlines as the Largest airline in the ultra-low cost category at Cancun International Airport with approximately nine daily flights.
