Ibero-American Academy of Gastronomy signs agreement with MITM Events
The objective is to promote the promotion of Ibero-American destinations, in gastronomic, cultural and tourist terms
The president of the Ibero-American Academy of Gastronomy, Rafael Ansón, and Charo Trabado, CEO, RMP & Co-founder of GSAR Marketing | MITM Events have signed on Monday a collaboration agreement to enhance and disseminate the Ibero-American culture and gastronomy through the CULTOURFAIR event in the framework of the celebration of the Ibero-American Capitals of Gastronomic Culture.
With this agreement, both institutions sign this agreement with the fundamental objective of promoting the promotion of Ibero-American destinations, in gastro-cultural and tourist terms. Taking into account that Madrid is, during this year, Ibero-American Capital of Gastronomic Culture, it will be the ideal venue for the celebration of CULTOURFAIR 2020.
During the signing of this agreement Rafael Ansón indicated that “a fair like CULTOURFAIR, the only one in the world specialized in cultural tourism and exclusive for professionals, is the ideal scenario to underline that gastronomy is culture and an essential element of tourism”.
In addition, he stressed that "this agreement is the starting point to develop this and other events of cultural, gastronomic and tourist promotion in the agenda of activities of the next Ibero-American Capitals of Gastronomic Culture."
For his part, Charo Trabado said: "For MITM Events, it is an honor to sign this agreement with the AIBG to continue with the work of promotion and dissemination of Ibero-American Culture in the world as we have been doing for more than 30 years."
The Ibero-American Academy of Gastronomy promotes research, dissemination and protection of the kitchens and gastronomic activities of the different Latin American regions and towns; the dissemination of its manifestations; the care of the purity of their traditions; support for the modernization of techniques; and the consideration of the new dietary gastronomic proposals, making known the characteristics, most relevant aspects of Latin American gastronomy and culture.
