Disney presents Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway attraction
The new adventure at Walt Disney World Resort takes visitors through the world of cartoons
When Mickey Mouse broke into the movie screen in 1928 as the protagonist of "Steamboat Willie," it changed the entertainment world forever. Mickey is adored throughout the world for his naive innocence, mischievous sense of humor and fearless attitude, and has become an iconic cultural synonym for Disney.
Although his adventures have been many, there is one thing Mickey has never done: being the star of his own attraction on wheels at a Disney theme park. However, that will change on March 4, 2020, with the premiere of the Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway attraction at the Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
In this new, fun and innovative family adventure, visitors go through a movie screen inside the park's Chinese Theater replica to enter the fantasy world of Disney Television Animation's animated "Mickey Mouse" short films, winners of the Emmy Award . There you will discover a world in which "the rules of the mouse are applied" and, where everything can - and ends up - happen! With an original “Mickey Mouse” story created by Walt Disney Imagineering that includes the new song “Nothing Can Stop Us Now”, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, it is a celebration of Disney's heritage, both in the latest narrative and in The tip design.
A fascinating experience for the whole family that will please all generations, from grandparents to grandchildren, full of surprises and a pure and cheerful fun, typical of the beloved original characters, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.
Anything can happen: the story of Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway invites families to begin their adventure in the heart of Disney's Hollywood Studios, to witness the premiere of a new animated short film "Mickey Mouse" called " Perfect Picnic ”, which was written by Walt Disney Imagineering and produced by Disney Television Animation. In the story, Mickey and Minnie go for a walk to Runnamuck Park in their little red convertible in search of the perfect place for a romantic picnic.
