Hilton expands its presence in Central America with the opening of Hilton San Salvador

Hilton today announced the signing of an agreement to open a Hilton Hotels & Resorts hotel in El Salvador. The opening of the new 198-room Hilton San Salvador is scheduled for July 2020, representing a new country for the growing portfolio of 160 Hilton hotels and resorts that welcome travelers across the Caribbean and Latin America.
Hilton San Salvador will be part of the World Trade Center San Salvador complex, both properties operated by Grupo Agrisal, and will welcome guests visiting the country's capital, known for its black sand beaches, surfing and vibrant nightlife.

The new hotel bet is strategically located in the Escalón neighborhood, recognized for its prestige and for having the best views towards the San Salvador volcano. Before opening as Hilton San Salvador, the existing property will initiate a renovation project led by Gensler Costa Rica. Currently the property has more than 2800 square meters of space for meetings and events, making it the hotel that has the largest conference center in the country; It also has 27 meeting rooms, two ballrooms, two boardrooms and 16 flexible meeting rooms.
