Bahía Principe issues a statement on the operation of its hotels by Covid-19
Given the scope of the global pandemic, the Spanish chain has been forced to suspend important property operations
The hotel chain issued a statement through its social networks to publicize measures it had to take due to the evolution of the Covid-19 pandemic. We share the same below:
In the face of the health emergency caused by the expansion of Covid-19 worldwide, following all protocols and recommendations for action, both from the World Health Organization (WHO) and from local authorities in all the countries in which we operate, From Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts we have taken the following measures, always considering that the health and safety of our guests and employees is our highest priority.
Stays for the following hotels are temporarily canceled:
At Bahia Principe La Romana Resort:
Bahia Principe Luxury Bouganville from March 16 to April 30
Bahia Principe Grand La Romana from March 16 to April 30
Arrivals from March 18 will be diverted to our Bahia Principe Bavaro Resort complex. Reservations at Bahia Principe Luxury Bouganville will be forwarded to Bahia Principe Luxury Ambar and reservations at Bahia Principe Grand La Romana to Bahia Principe Grand Punta Cana.
At Bahia Principe Bavaro Resort:
Bahia Principe Grand Aquamarine from March 16 to May 31
Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro from March 16 to May 31
Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda from March 16 to May 31
All arrivals at these hotels will be diverted to Bahia Principe Luxury Ambar, Bahia Principe Grand Punta Cana and Bahia Principe Fantasia Punta Cana respectively.
In the Samana area:
Bahia Principe Luxury Samana from March 16 to October 31
Bahia Principe Grand Cayacoa from March 16 to October 31
Bahia Principe Grand El Portillo from March 16 to April 30
Arrivals from March 15 to the Samaná area are being diverted to the Bahia Principe Luxury Cayo Levantado hotel.
