70% of Americans miss traveling
9 out of 10 respondents say they plan to approach future travel plans with care and caution. The data comes from a study by Worldwide Rescue & Security, Inc
According to a recent study, 70% of Americans don't travel due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. However, nine out of ten Americans surveyed say they plan to approach future travel plans with care and caution. Since the future of travel seems uncertain, many travelers are thinking of alternative travel to plan once restrictions are lifted.
It won't be a simple return to pre-pandemic feelings and behaviors, as almost 40% of American travelers say they will change the types of destinations they choose to visit. Many say they will trade crowded international destinations for more rural weekend trips closer to home. Cruise vacations are expected to be the least popular travel method, as only 6% of respondents report they would be willing to take a cruise later this year.
Precautions and safety measures still need to be considered when planning your first trip after the COVID-19 pandemic. A travel assistance membership, such as Emergency Assistance Plus (EA +), can provide additional protection and security on any trip you take away from home, regardless of whether it is national or international. With services that include medical evacuation, to take you to a more appropriate hospital; Transportation home once you have fully recovered; And even RV / Vehicle Return if your emergency makes you unable to drive your vehicle home, you and your family can travel with confidence on any trip you take throughout the year.
