The protocol to be applied has been announced moments ago on social media


Today, the City of Miarni Beach has amended its Emergency Order — allowing for beaches, hotels and condominium/apartment building pools to reopen on June 1, 2020, consistent with Miami-Dade County Emergency Order 23-20 and subject to a series of rules and social distancing guidelines: 
Beaches will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. with the following COVID-19 safety measures in place:
• Facial coverings must always be readily available and are required for use in bathrooms, at concessions or when social distandng cannot be achieved (except for members of the same household)
• Social distancing will be enforced and groups of 10 persons or more are prohibited
• No use of exercise equipment or playgrounds; no shared equipment, organized activities. sports or classes; no special events or group picnics
• No fishing, pets on the beach, floats, tents/canopies nor coolers

Over 100 social distancing ambassadors will be deployed on the beach daily for the next few weeks to ensure patrons are following the aforernentioned measures. 

Hotel guidelines include the following:
• Facial coverings must be used by guests in interior common areas and in outdoor common areas where social distancing cannot be achieved; and staff rnust wear facial coverings at all tirnes. both indoors and out
• Social distancing precautions, signage and sanitizer or soap/water must be readily available at key entrances and public areas
• Elevators are limited to 50 percent capacity with no more than four occupants, unless they are members of the sarne family
• No valet parking where onsite parking is available. When parking is unavailable, valets must social distance wear facial coverings, change/sanitize gloves between each vehide and avoid touching guest luggage (unless guests are physically unable to lift the luggage)
• Capacity shall be reduced by 50 percent of building occupancy in restaurants. meeting areas and banquet spaces
• No self-service food operations
