LATAM and Delta present a commercial agreement request to CADE in Brazil
“Our strategic alliance with Delta continues to be a priority. It is an example of how we will get out of this world crisis as a strengthened group ”stated the CEO of LATAM Airlines Brasil, Jerome Cadier
LATAM Airlines Brasil and Delta Air Lines took the first step in Brazil yesterday towards their trans-American bilateral trade agreement (“trans-American Joint Venture Agreement”), presenting the request for regulatory approval to the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE).
“Our strategic alliance with Delta continues to be a priority. The request reaffirms our commitment to offer our clients the best travel and connectivity experience in America. This alliance is an example of how LATAM will emerge from this global crisis as a strengthened, more agile and competitive group ”, said the CEO of LATAM Airlines Brazil, Jerome Cadier.
The review process by the Brazilian free competition agency represents the first regulatory process of the agreement between LATAM Airlines Group and its subsidiaries and Delta Air Lines, which was recently signed and which - once the necessary regulatory authorizations are obtained - will connect its complementary networks of destinations between North and South America.
