Puerto Vallarta's beaches reopen today

The Puerto Vallarta hotel industry will reopen its facilities to its guests starting today, including swimming pools and beaches. They must have sanitation protocols ready to comply with the measures indicated by the health sector, and offer clean and safe spaces, in conjunction with efforts made at all levels to offer a safe tourist destination to visitors.
To comply with preventive measures regarding distance, hotels may operate up to 30 percent of their capacity; They will also be implementing strict sanitary control measures from the access of the guests: use of mouth covers, application of antibacterial gel, temperature taking, and minimization of interaction with staff, using electronic devices.
The beach areas of the hotels will be able to reopen on June 15, they will be in charge of implementing the corresponding preventive measures to ensure that the indicated health protocols are followed. Public beaches will also be reopened, in this case the municipal government is responsible for implementing the protocols that attendees must comply with.
Secure Travel Stamp
For now, Puerto Vallarta is on the way to obtaining the Travel Safety Stamp granted by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), as confirmed by its CEO, Gloria on its social networks. Guevara Manzo, which guarantees that hotels and the tourism sector in general are rigorously complying with all Covid 19 prevention protocols, to generate confidence in travelers.
After meeting with hotel representatives of this port, the Governor of Jalisco, Enrique Alfaro Ramírez, specified that the measure is taken with strict responsibility on the subject of health but attending to the urgent need to reactivate the economy of the main tourist destination of Jalisco. Bars, clubs, canteens, casinos and party halls will not be open yet either.
For his part, the Jalisco Tourism Secretary, Germán Ralis Cumplido, reported that Puerto Vallarta's tourism promotion has not stopped, and it was time to reinforce it to accelerate the arrival of visitors. The Puerto Vallarta Public Trust for Tourism Promotion and Advertising continues to work on actions that keep this destination in the minds of travelers, and the time has come to invite them to return.
Given that the great attractions of Puerto Vallarta are in optimal conditions, said the secretary, and now that the hotel industry can already offer its facilities and beaches, the arrival of the first visitors for pleasure is expected in the coming days.
To promote tourism recovery and the flow of visitors, promotional campaigns will be launched continuously in specific markets such as the regional and Bajío markets, which are expected to be the first to enjoy this tourist destination.
