Argentina continues to grow in the MICE segment
INPROTUR participated this month in the Inter-regional Virtual Business Exchange: Latin America, North America and Europe
Undoubtedly, this year tourism has been hit hard by the pandemic generated by COVID-19. However, among so many difficulties, Argentina achieved a historical fact: in the last month of May, the ranking of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) ranked our country as Number 1 in the organization of international conferences in Latin America.
However, this result promises to be only the beginning of a long successful path. In this way, the country continues its progress and is positioned to achieve even more positive results.
In this constant search for improvement, the National Institute for Tourism Promotion (INPROTUR) was the protagonist on two occasions during the current month of June of the Inter-regional Virtual Business Exchange: Latin America, North America and Europe, virtual meetings with ICCA members from Latin America, North America and Europe.
During the meetings, each member exchanged information on events postulated and carried out in their respective destinations. In the case of Argentina, the INPROTUR team presented the Congress of the International Society of Sugar Cane Technicians, held in 2019 in the city of San Miguel de Tucumán, capital of the Province of Tucumán, in the Northern region, and the 12th International Congress of Analytical Psychology, to be held in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires from August 28 to September 02, 2021.
Furthermore, the participants shared with INPROTUR a series of 38 potential events to be held in our country.
This type of actions, exclusive for ICCA members, not only hierarchises the Argentine brand in a segment of vital importance for national inbound tourism, but also serves to consolidate the country's position as the venue for events in Latin America and the world, and access and educate yourself with information from other destinations and organizers.
