Corferias extends the term of use of its facilities

Corferias and the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce continue to be committed to the measures taken at the country and city levels for the management of the pandemic and extend the term established for the use of their facilities until August 31, 2020, without any cost of land or lease in favor of Corferias, to give continuity to the Temporary Transient Hospital Center by the authorities.
This extension is held under the initial conditions in which Corferias will not generate any charge for the rental of spaces and without any consideration of commercial benefit.
Committed to the city and the country, since last April, the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá and Corferias complied with the official delivery of the assembly and facilities of the Corferias fairground for the implementation of the Temporary Transient Hospital Center in order to expand hospital capacity to deal with the emergency generated by COVID-19.
This is how today they continue to be committed and reaffirm their condition of solidarity and support for the city and the country with the actions and measures taken by the National Government and the Mayor of Bogotá at the head of the Ministry of Health to deal with the management of the pandemic, For this reason, they have decided to extend the time of use of their facilities with an extension that will allow the use of the premises as a transitional hospital until August 31, 2020 without generating any charge for concept or rental of spaces and without any consideration of commercial benefit.
The costs that are related in this extension to the contract signed with the Integrated Subnet of Health Services Centro Oriente E.S.E. they are only due to the collection of the public services that are actually consumed on the value invoiced by the respective provider companies and the value of the rents of the sanitary elements supplied by third parties, derived from the operation and operation of the Temporary Transient Hospital for the time that spread out. Thus, Corferias and the Chamber of Commerce maintain their commitment and support.
