IFEMA is positioned as a safe place to return to activity
The Community of Madrid and the WTTC endorse the extraordinary measures implemented to guarantee the safety, health and mobility of the participants to their events
From the month of July, IFEMA will host the celebration of more than 60 fairs and congresses, which will combine face-to-face and online formats, with the aim of helping companies to reactivate their businesses and thus contribute to the reconstruction of the economy
The Community of Madrid, through Madrid Excelente, has granted IFEMA the Madrid Guarantee certificate, an initiative of the Plan for the Reactivation of the autonomous government that identifies public-private collaboration between institutions and companies to help economic reactivation in their coexistence with the COVID-19, as well as the measures and solutions implemented by each company to guarantee the safety and health of their businesses.
The distinctive Madrid Guarantee recognizes the work carried out by IFEMA in three areas: in the adoption of mandatory standards in the new normality imposed by COVID-19; for the development of extraordinary protocols; and for the social action exercise carried out by IFEMA in the emergency hospital deployed in the Madrid Fair during the months of March and April, in support and collaboration with the provisions of the Community and Madrid City Council, both in the production of the hospital and in logistics and organization during its operation.
