Dominican authorities supervise application of protocol in hotels and tourist companies
The ministries of Tourism and Public Health began the visit within the framework of compliance with the health protocol implemented after the reopening of activities in July
The inspection, which formally began at the Hotel El Embajador, at Royal Hideway Santo Domingo, was led by Yarín Casquero, director of Tourism Companies and Services at MITUR, in the presence of Ventura Serra, director of the Barceló Santo Domingo Urban Hotels.
Casquero explained that these reviews, together with Public Health, are registered for the purpose of verifying compliance with the protocols that are already being applied in the tourism sector and that seek to guarantee the health of tourists and collaborators who participate in companies that They provide their services and they will include all the subsectors of the tourism industry in the country.
The official emphasizes that they will be extended to all the hotel centers of Santo Domingo and tourist centers nationwide, carried out by specialized personnel who will verify the faithful compliance with said protocols, based on everything that is protection of the health of tourists in prevention of the Covid-19.
