The Caribbean country launched its interactive platform that includes new experiences, tours and activities

The Dominican Republic launches a new initiative to get to know the country without leaving home: the interactive platform DR Virtual Country, where visitors can be inspired for their next trip to the country and find information about the main tourist areas, excursions and activities in each of them, recipes of typical dishes of Dominican cuisine, meringue and bachata classes and many more experiences that make it the leading tourist destination in the region.

"We know that at this time there are many people wanting to visit our country and although nothing replaces the feeling of visiting us in person, we want to offer these travelers the possibility of starting their trip before leaving home," said Magaly Toribio, Marketing advisor at the Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic (MITUR). "In our Virtual Country they will be able to start planning their trip with interactive and unique experiences, learn more about the possibilities that the Dominican Republic offers and delve into our culture and joy," she continued.

The Virtual Country platform has 360 videos to explore the best beaches in the country and enjoy adventure, nature and culture in an immersive way. And just as it does in real life, music will play a central role in the virtual experience through concerts by renowned artists.

The first virtual concert will be in charge of the artist and composer Manny Cruz. On Thursday, July 16 at 8PM (Argentina time), the artist, twice nominated for the Latin Grammy, will offer an exclusive concert for visitors to País Virtual. A concert is also scheduled for July 24 with Covi Quintana, one of the most prominent voices of Dominican pop, and a third concert by the renowned Latin jazz pianist Michel Camilo, winner of a Grammy, an Emmy and three Latin Grammy awards, among others. many recognitions.

The Virtual Country page will be updated with new experiences, virtual tours and activities that serve as inspiration for all those who wish to know more about the possibilities offered by the Dominican Republic, and aspires to be a tool to motivate travelers from all over the world to know this iconic Caribbean destination.
