New Explore More Package Includes Daily Admission and Courtesy Ticket to 2021


The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex has expanded the availability of attractions for visitors since last Monday, July 6, by opening the Shuttle Launch Experience®, the IMAX Theater, pre-attraction shows for Space Shuttle Atlantis ® and Heroes & Legends with the US Astronaut Hall of Fame® presented by Boeing, and more food areas were enabled. All areas and attractions will have limited capacity and the visitor complex will continue to operate on a reduced schedule from 10 a.m. at 4 p.m.

The new "Explore More" package includes a courtesy ticket for a visit in 2021 for $ 57 plus taxes for adults and $ 47 plus taxes for children ages 3-11. An additional space expert-led walking tour through Heroes & Legends with the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame, Rocket Garden, Nature and Technology, Journey to Mars: Explorers Wanted, NASA Now, and the Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibit will continue to be available to small groups for an additional $ 20.

As always, the health and safety of employees and visitors is the top priority for the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
 
In accordance with the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the visitor complex will continue with all precautionary measures, including limited attendance and encouraging daily advance admission purchases; requiring face covers and temperature control for employees and visitors; social distancing will be maintained in the ranks, restaurants, show viewing areas and other facilities throughout the complex; and sanitation and disinfection of all areas is carried out more frequently.

The visitor complex was cautiously reopened on May 28, 2020 with a reduced entrance fee and attractions limited to exhibits and outdoor sites only.
 
The situation will continue to be evaluated and adjustments will be made to the availability of exhibitions, tours and experiences as deemed safe and appropriate. The Kennedy Space Center bus tour, including the Apollo / Saturn V Center and special interest bus tours, are not available at this time. To help protect against the spread of COVID-19 and to help ensure the safety of visitors and employees, the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex has taken and will continue to take steps to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus according to CDC guidance. . There is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present.
 
These precautions are temporary and are subject to change at any time as recommended by CDC, the State of Florida, and Brevard County. The administration of the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex continues to work closely with local, state and federal experts to ensure that the situation is kept up to date as it evolves.
